Just a suggestion - Have an administrator go to "Options" and under there click on "Reading". The second main topic down is "Blog Pages". In the box following "Show at most:" change the number to something higher - at least 15. I think Couer d'Alene Reservation uses 20, we use 25. Almost no-one click "previous" when scrolling down your page to see what is posted. It would improve your opportunities to have someone stop, read, and become interested enough to return to view the blog again. This is one of the few easy fixes for the blog site.

The process of creating the vision was a very unique experience. During the visioning rally there are so many ideas coming out of the conversations it was all that the writing team could do to keep up. I am glad that Bonners Ferry has Horizons.

The Horizons Project in our community has inspired an "awakening." Conversations and perceptions are changing. Initially, people expected immediate results and most wanted to know "What will we get out of this?" It has been challenging to explain to folks that the project is really about capacity building - not about specific, instant outcomes. Another challenge has been to get people thinking beyond today and tomorrow. Horizons asks us to think 10, 15, even 20 years down the road. For people living in poverty, that is impossible to imagine - as the "future" for many means the next meal or the next rent payment. But, Horizons certainly has opened eyes here. People are beginning to realize that change - for better or for worse - will not happen over night. With patience and perseverance, great things are possible. Kudos to our Community Coach for her leadership throughout this Project... She will be missed...

This sounds like a great idea! We may steal your idea. : 0
I was also wondering if you are registered as an administrator on your blog site, and if so, has Horizons told you yet that you have a whole lot more options for color and format as a contributor, author, or editor? I am an administrator on our site and found this out on my own. So I used another email addy and went through the steps to sign up as a blogger and approved myself as an editor. Blogging has become more fun doing it in visual instead of code. In case you didn't know, I wanted to pass this info on.
